By enhancing the efficiency and reach of the global food supply chain, it will help ensure a greater variety of fresh produce and foodstuffs are available in the market, potentially at more competitive prices.

It will provide a comprehensive ecosystem for food trade, offering advanced logistics, streamlined processes, and access to a vast global market. It will also create new investment opportunities and support business growth.

Dubai Food District is not designated as a free zone in its entirety; it offers areas with free zone benefits and areas with mainland benefits.

These areas will provide businesses with advantages such as 100% foreign ownership, tax exemptions, and simplified customs procedures.

Businesses operating outside the designated free zone areas will be subject to and benefit from the Dubai market regulations and requirements.
